MAIN FEATURES:
Configuration: The TP2400 is composed of two power modules, one stereo for the mid-high frequencies (satellites) and one mono for the low frequencies (subwoofer). In addition to this, an active two-way crossover filters and processes the signal to each power module. This system avoids the problems of connections, adjustment and space.
Signal Processing: The music signal is corrected and optimized for the response provided by the speaker system. The variable cut-off frequency of the high-pass filter for the satellites beetwin 70 & 140Hz and 90 to 140 Hz for the subwoofer, through parametric filters. And a additional
bass boost 50Hz +6dB center frequency
Electronically balanced inputs:
Immunize the amplifier against external noise interference.
Soft Start: Effective circuit that prevents current surge when the amplifier is switched on.
Breaker Switch: Consumption limiter that substitutes the unreliable mains fuses.
Mains Filter: Guarantees the fulfillment of EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) directives.
Anti-Clip limiter: Keeps the output signal free of distortion, making the life of the loudspeakers longer.
Cooling: The efficient design of the heat-sinks and the internal temperature sensors ensure a permanent control of the working temperature.
High Damping Factor: Ensures an outstanding performance of the low frequency loudspeakers.
PROTECTION SYSTEMS:
Short-circuit: The protection circuit keeps the power transistors working within their Safe Operation Area, even with a short-circuit at the loudspeaker output. The
Limiter indicator will warn us about the problem.
Thermal protection: Should the amplifier reach its maximum working temperature, the LIMITER circuit will reduce the output power until the normal operating temperature is achieved.
D.C.: in any case, even if the power module is damaged, the amplifier will deliver D.C. at its output.
